01:35 PM EST, 01/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pine Cliff Energy ( PIFYF ) on Friday said it will sell between 3.2-million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) and 4.8 MMcf/d of natural gas to a private company, for an initial term of 25 years.

The private company will construct and operate a data center, separate to the Alberta electrical grid, and adjacent to an operating Pine Cliff facility in central Alberta. The supply of natural gas will start when the data center is commissioned.

The statement notes that in the third quarter, Pine Cliff's production of natural gas averaged 108.0 MMcf/d.

Pine Cliff was last seen up $0.03 to $0.95 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
