Pioneer's former CEO Sheffield urges FTC to withdraw opposition to his inclusion in Exxon's board

May 28 (Reuters) - Scott Sheffield, the former CEO of

Pioneer Natural Resources, has requested the US Federal Trade

Commission to vacate its order that barred his inclusion in

Exxon Mobil's ( XOM ) board and dismiss the proceeding without

further action, according to a filing from Sheffield's legal

counsel.
