Pizza Pizza Royalty Fourth-Quarter Adjusted Profit Rises on 7.6% on Higher Sales, Larger Royalty Pool

04:43 PM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pizza Pizza Royalty ( PZRIF ) on Wednesday said its fourth-quarter adjusted profit rose 7.6% as sales rose as it added new locations

The company, which collects royalties from sales at 743 Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 restaurants, up from 727 stores a year earlier, said its adjusted profit, which excludes most one-time items, rose to C$8.25 million, or C$0.26 per share, in the period, from C$7.67 million, or C$0.24, in the year-prior quarter.

Sales at its royalty pool restaurants rose 7% to C$163.91 million from C$153.19 million.

The company's shares closed up C$0.02 to C$14.29 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
