04:57 PM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Pizza Pizza Royalty ( PZRIF ) , which indirectly owns the Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 Rights and Marks, reported higher in fourth quarter sales and adjusted earnings.
The company's adjusted income from operations in the three months ended on Dec.31 rose to C$8.16 million, or $0.25 per share, up from $8.07 million, or $0.25, in the prior-year period, meeting FactSet estimates.
Total system sales jumped 2.2% year-over year to $164.00 million from $160.54 million in the same period of 2024. It exceeded FactSet analysts' estimates of $163.10 million.
"While we delivered positive sales in a very tough environment, it is clear that momentum has softened as customers become more deliberate in how they spend. That said, we will leverage our strong everyday value leadership position, backed by ongoing enhancements to our menu, restaurants and digital customer experience to continue to grow successfully," said Paul Goddard, CEO of Pizza Pizza Limited.
The company declared shareholder dividends of $5.7 million, or $0.2325 per share, for the quarter, unchanged from the year-prior quarter.
Shares of the company closed up $0.25 to $16.22 on Toronto Stock Exchange.
