10:37 AM EST, 11/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Planet Labs PBC ( PL ) said Thursday it is expanding its partnership with Abelio to develop additional digital agriculture and other precision farming applications.

As part of the expanded agreement, Abelio will combine satellite imaging from Planet Labs' PlanetScope and Sentinel-2 data streams to its algorithms and machine-learning models to produce time-sensitive insights for farmers.

Abelio will also be able to quickly access plots of farms using the Planet Insights Platform workspace, significantly reducing the company's development time and costs.

Shares of Planet Labs were up over 3% in recent trading activity.
