04:21 PM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Planet Labs (PL) said late Monday it has extended its partnership with VITO, a European research and technology organization, to expand the use of satellite imagery and analytics for agriculture and environmental applications.

Planet and VITO will also produce habitat maps to help companies and governments measure environmental impact, the company said.
