Planet Labs Gets Pilot Contract From International Defense Customer; Shares Rise

10:25 AM EDT, 07/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Planet Labs (PL) said Monday the company and its SynMax partner will provide an international ministry of defense customer with a maritime domain awareness solution for vessel detection and monitoring under a "seven-figure" pilot contract.

Planet Labs also said the customer expanded its SkySat contact with the company for high-resolution satellite data.

Planet Labs shares were up 6% in recent trading.
