09:53 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Planet Labs (PL) said Wednesday it signed an eight-figure contract renewal with a longstanding, undisclosed international defense and intelligence customer for high-resolution imagery.

The renewed agreement will provide the customer access to Planet's Pelican and SkySat assured tasking capabilities, allowing for monitoring and intelligence gathering activities, Planet Labs said.

Shares of the company were up 2.9% in early Wednesday trading.
