06:48 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Playa Hotels & Resorts ( PLYA ) said Monday it has agreed to extend exclusivity agreement with Hyatt Hotels ( H ) to discuss potential strategic options, which may include its acquisition by Hyatt.

The companies confirmed the exclusivity period has been extended through Feb. 10.

There are no assurances if the parties will enter a definitive transaction, or to the terms of any deal, Playa said.
