Plug Power Develops Hydrogen Fuel Cell-Powered Class 6 Electric Medium-Duty Truck

07:45 AM EDT, 05/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Plug Power ( PLUG ) said Wednesday it has developed a Class 6 medium-duty electric truck powered by its hydrogen fuel cell technology.

The company said it has integrated an electric propulsion system powered by its ProGen fuel cell technology into a commercial Class 6 chassis cab with a range of up to 500 miles and operable without a commercial driver's license.

Plug Power ( PLUG ) says its ProGen technology emits only water vapor and warm air.

Shares of the company were up nearly 2% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
