PNC Financial Services Plans Dividend Hike, Stress Test Results Show Capital Strength
Jul 1, 2025 2:37 PM

05:25 PM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- PNC Financial Services ( PNC ) said Tuesday that it plans to recommend to its board a 6% dividend increase to $1.70 per share in Q3.

The company said its 2025 Federal Reserve stress test results show its Stress Capital Buffer will remain at the 2.5% minimum, consistent with previous periods.

PNC Financial's capital ratios significantly exceed regulatory requirements, even under severe hypothetical scenarios.

The company said its board had previously authorized the repurchase of up to 100 million common shares, with approximately 41% remaining available as of March 31. Q3 repurchase activity is expected to be consistent with Q2.
