Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.55.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total non-interest income, was $5.66 billion, up from $5.41 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $5.61 billion.

Shares of the bank and financial services group were up more than 1.8% in recent premarket activity.
