PNC Financial to Buy FirstBank in Deal Valued at $4.10 Billion

07:46 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The PNC Financial Services Group ( PNC ) said Monday it has agreed to buy FirstBank Holding in a deal valued at $4.10 billion.

The consideration consists of about 13.9 million PNC Financial common shares and $1.20 billion in cash, the company said.

Both boards have approved the deal, which will likely be completed in early 2026, PNC Financial added.
