POET Technologies Enters Manufacturing Deal With NationGate

08:07 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- POET Technologies ( POET ) said Tuesday said it has signed agreements with NationGate Solutions to assemble and test optical engines at NationGate's facility in Penang, Malaysia.

The optical engines include a fiber-attach unit tailored for one of POET's customers, the company said. Financial details were not available.

The NationGate deal is on top of a manufacturing agreement with Globetronics, the company said, adding that Globetronics has shipped 800G optical engine samples to customers and expects to ship an order backlog of 1.6T samples in Q3.
