POET Technologies, LITEON to Jointly Develop Optical Modules for AI Applications

09:58 AM EDT, 03/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- POET Technologies ( POET ) said Monday it entered into a strategic collaboration with optoelectronic specialist LITEON Technology that aims to develop next-generation optical communication modules for AI data centers.

POET said that development work will begin this year with prototypes ready by late 2026 and high-volume production expected by 2027.
