10:19 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- POET Technologies ( POET ) said Monday it has entered into a partnership with Sivers Semiconductors to create external light source modules for co-packaged optics and artificial intelligence clusters and data centers.

The company said it will integrate its Optical Interposer platform with Sivers' distributed feedback lasers.

POET said the modules will use wafer-level production and chip-scale photonic integration to address size and cost concerns in large-scale AI deployments.

Prototype demonstrations are expected in H1 of 2026, with production likely to be ready by the end of that year, the company added.

Shares of the company were down 2% in recent trading Monday.
