08:27 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Polestar (PSNY) said Tuesday it has appointed Jean-Francois Mady as chief financial officer, succeeding Per Ansgar, effective Oct. 21.

Mady will join Polestar from Stellantis ( STLA ) , where he most recently was the senior vice president of global accounting operations and finance transformation, the company said.

Polestar appointed Ansgar as interim CFO in January. He will remain at the company to ensure a smooth transition, before returning as finance chief of Geely Sweden Holding, the automotive manufacturer said.

Shares of Polestar were up 4% in recent premarket activity.
