Polestar Receives $200 Million Equity Investment From PSD Investment

09:06 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Polestar (PSNY) said Monday that it received a $200 million equity investment from PSD Investment.

Under a securities purchase agreement, Polestar will sell 190,476,190 newly-issued class A American Depositary Shares to PSD Investment at a price of $1.05 per ADS. The company said it plans to use proceeds from the investment for general corporate purposes including working capital requirements.

The Swedish electric vehicle maker said PSD Investments is an existing investor controlled by Geely Founder and Chairman Shufu Li.

Shares of Polestar were 2.9% higher in recent premarket activity.
