Pollard Banknote Wins Five-Year Instant Ticket Printing Contract

12:21 PM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Pollard Banknote ( PBKOF ) on Thursday said it won an exclusive five-year contract with Taiwan Lottery (TLC) to serve as its sole provider of instant tickets.

The company said the contract is valid through Dec 31, 2028, and includes provisions to extend the agreement for five more years. Based on average annual sales, the company believes the contract value is estimated to bring in C$66 million over the five-year term, which commenced on Jan.1, 2024.

Pollard Banknote's ( PBKOF ) "commitment to quality and producing instant tickets uniquely suited to the Taiwanese market have led to us achieving our highest sales record to date," said TLC President Jonathan Hsieh. "We look forward to continuing this success and growing our sales further throughout the next contract term to benefit social welfare programs across Taiwan."

Shares of the company were last seen down $0.28 to $24.75 the Toronto Stock Exchange.
