05:55 AM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Pony AI's shares were up 6% in recent premarket activity Wednesday after the company said its seventh-generation Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation Robotaxi model had begun road testing in Beijing.

With multiple Gen-7 Robotaxi models undergoing road testing, Pony.ai is making significant progress toward large-scale production and commercial deployment, the company said.

The latest development is driving the company closer to its goal of expanding its fleet to 1,000 vehicles by the end of 2025, it said.
