Portofino Resources Holding Talks on Argentine Lithium Projects

09:12 AM EDT, 07/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Portofino Resources ( PFFOF ) said it is holding talks with "numerous" international industry groups that are interested in securing their lithium supply, including six groups that have begun project due diligence on a post-non-disclosure agreement basis.

These groups are at various stages of due diligence and review of the company's data room. Portofino has been pursuing potential strategic financing structures to accelerate progress to the next stages of development of its lithium brine projects in Argentina.

Portofino has two projects in Argentina -- the Yergo Project in Catamarca Province and the Arizaro Project in Salta Province.
