12:51 PM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Power Nickel (PNPN.V) on Tuesday said appointed former federal cabinet minister Seamus O'Regan Jr. to its board of directors.
O'Regan, first elected as a Member of Parliament in 2015, served in several senior government roles, including Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. In that capacity, he oversaw Canada's first Critical Minerals Plan, the National Hydrogen Strategy, and the Small Modular Reactor Action Plan
"His skillsets in government affairs particularly his time as Energy & Natural Resources Minister and Minister of Indigenous Services will be very helpful as we look to guide our High Grade Polymetallic discovery "Nisk" at Nemaska, Quebec, through exploration to development and what we hope will be the world's first carbon neutral polymetallic mine," chief executive Terry Lynch said.
