07:38 AM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Power Nickel ( PNPNF ) , whose shares surged 70% on Friday, over the weekend reported high-grade assays from the Nisk nickel project in Canada, saying that it delineated a high grade and thick core.

Results include 15.27 meters of 0.50 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 16.13 g/t silver, 1.89% copper, 7.07 g/t palladium, 1.26 g/t platinum and 0.80% nickel; as well as 11.35 meters of 0.26 g/t gold, 6.12 g/t silver, 0.63% copper, 1.57 g/t palladium, 0.67 g/t platinum and 0.04% nickel.

"As we can now see, we are establishing some boundaries delineating a high grade and thick core that is surrounded by well mineralized but thinner edges," CEO Terry Lynch said.

Power Nickel ( PNPNF ) said its winter 2024 drill program ended with 15 successful holes at the Lion discovery, which it plans to continue drilling in the upcoming summer season.
