Power Nickel Provides Drill Results From Fall Campaign at Lion Zone in Quebec, Commences Winter Drill Campaign
Jan 21, 2025 6:09 AM

08:45 AM EST, 01/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Power Nickel ( PNPNF ) reported Tuesday results from three drill holes of its fall campaign at the Lion zone at the Nick project in Quebec.

Results include 6.26% copper equivalent over 10.25 meters within 4.29% copper equivalent over 20.05 meters.

"These holes continue to inspire the team on how exciting the Lion zone is so far and its potential as we expect to complete the remaining 15,000 meters of drilling between now and the end of April 2025," CEO Terry Lynch said.

The company said results for 14 more holes from the autumn drilling program remain pending.

Power Nickel ( PNPNF ) said it has commenced its 2025 drill program, with a technical crew carrying out core cutting of the remaining December 2024 drill core, preparing winter drill roads and pads, and upgrading the core logging and sampling facilities to manage multiple drills.

The drill contractor has collared the first drill and a second drill will be operating by the first week of February. A third drill will be added by mid-February, the company said.

Power Nickel's ( PNPNF ) share price rose 1.9% on Monday to $1.10 on the TSXV.
