10:45 AM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PPG Industries ( PPG ) said Monday that it has entered into a strategic collaboration with SARO/Siccardi, an Italian distributor of powder coatings.

The company said the deal will merge PPG's advanced powder coating technologies with SARO/Siccardi's large distribution network, providing customers customized solutions, technical support, and competitive pricing.

The deal will also expand PPG's distribution footprint in Italy, and improve SARO/Siccardi's customer service and response times, the companies said.

Shares of PPG Industries ( PPG ) rose about 1.6% in recent trading activity.
