May 29 (Reuters) - Following are the top stories on the

- Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, who dropped out of the White

House race in January, has taken a 7.4% stake in BuzzFeed ( BZFD )

for about $4 mln and wants the company to consider

moves like hiring the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and

the N.B.A. commentator Charles Barkley.

- Adam Neumann has ended his bid to re-acquire WeWork ( WEWOQ )

as the coworking business he co-founded has chosen to

emerge from bankruptcy with an "unrealistic" plan.

- Ryan Salame, the former co-CEO of FTX's Bahamian

subsidiary and a top lieutenant to the bankrupt cryptocurrency

exchange's founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, was sentenced on Tuesday

to 90 months in prison.

- The speaker of the Texas House, Dade Phelan, won

renomination in a runoff on Tuesday, surviving a bruising

Republican primary challenge from a party activist and

first-time candidate who was backed by former President Donald

J. Trump and his Texas supporters.
