Bari Weiss, one of its founders, as the editor-in-chief of CBS
News.
- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an emergency
request from Google to prevent it from being forced to
make a series of changes to its Play app store, effectively
opening it up to competition.
- Verizon named Dan Schulman, a former chief
executive of PayPal ( PYPL ), as its new boss on Monday,
replacing Hans Vestberg, who had led the company since 2018.
- Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has tapped the leader of
the Social Security Administration, Frank Bisignano, to also
oversee the day-to-day operations of the Internal Revenue
