American, a longtime rival with a market capitalization
of about $35 billion, in a potential megadeal that could reshape
the global mining industry.
- Hipgnosis Songs Fund ( HPGSF ) has agreed to an improved
$1.51 billion takeover by Apollo-backed music company Concord
Chorus, trumping a rival offer from Blackstone.
- Cybersecurity company Rubrik plans to raise $752 million
through a U.S. listing, the latest company to tap an initial
public offering market that is heating up.
- The U.S. Justice Department is conducting a criminal
