- Toyota ( TM ) is making a $1.4 billion infrastructure
investment in its Indiana plant to further support its
electrification efforts in the U.S.
- Anglo American is considering a sale of De Beers,
its storied diamond unit, in a separate process from BHP's
takeover bid.
- S&P Global Ratings has cut Boeing's ( BA ) ratings outlook
to negative from stable, citing heightened production
uncertainty, leadership changes, and its negotiations for an
acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ).
- Oaktree Capital Management is spinning out its
transportation-infrastructure group with $3.65 billion in assets
into a new firm called Duration Capital Partners.
- Private-equity firm GTCR reached a roughly $2.7 billion
deal to take private AssetMark Financial Holdings ( AMK ).
