- Lord Saatchi's offer to buy the Telegraph newspapers for
350 million pounds ($446.39 million) has been rejected by the
Abu Dhabi-backed firm controlling the sale.
- Britain's Universities Superannuation Scheme sold its
entire 80 million pounds holding of Israeli bonds between
February and July this year.
The Guardian
- British Airways is halting flights to Beijing from Oct.
26 until November 2025, it said on Thursday without elaborating
on the reason, as European carriers struggle with a ban on
flying over Russian airspace.
- Barclays ( JJCTF ) has become the latest bank to
substantially raise a cap on bonuses for its top bankers, an
