** Canada and India are close to finalizing a uranium trade
agreement in an export deal valued at about $2.8 billion,
according to people familiar with the matter.
** Canadian investment company Flowing River Capital has agreed
to buy Marshall Land Systems from Britain's Marshall Group in a
deal that will make the firm Canada's largest indigenous-owned
defence contractor.
** Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier
