- On Semiconductor said on Wednesday that it proposed to
acquire sensor integrated circuits provider Allegro Microsystems
ALGM.O> for $35.10 per share in an all-cash transaction.
- U.S. President Donald Trump will exempt automakers from
tariffs on Canada and Mexico for one month as long as they
comply with existing free trade rules, the White House said on
Wednesday.
- KKR and Walmart ( WMT ) have agreed to sell Seiyu
supermarket chain for about $2.5 billion, ending foreign
ownership of one of Japan's most well-known supermarket
operators.
- Merck's ( MRK ) injected version of its blockbuster cancer
drug Keytruda could face a potential patent challenge from
biotech Halozyme Therapeutics ( HALO ).
