07:30 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Prime Mining ( PRMNF ) reported Tuesday expansion drilling results from the Los Reyes project in Mexico, noting that the continuity of high gold and silver grades may support potential for underground mining.
Highlights from the Tahonitas area in the Z-T trend include 9.39 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent over 10.5 meters, including 10.29 g/t gold equivalent over 8.0 meters.
"Expansion drilling results at Tahonitas in the Z-T trend have been excellent, demonstrating continuity of very high gold and silver grades down dip and within previous drilling gaps," CEO Scott Hicks said.
The company added that mineralization in the structure also extends above and below these elevations, providing targets to continue the expansion of the trend.
Prime noted that the results were not part of its resource estimate released on May 2, 2023.
