08:06 AM EDT, 05/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Probe Gold ( PROBF ) on Tuesday highlighted the final results from the winter 2024 Courvan Gold Trend drill program on its Novador property near Val-d'Or, Quebec.
Results from 42 new drill holes and three deepened holes, totaling 12,000 meters, have returned significant gold intercepts from the surface to 300 meters vertical depth at the Courvan deposits.
Among the highlights, the company reported new, near-surface intercepts at Courvan, grading up 1.1 g/t of gold over 133 meters; 3.2 g/t of gold over 19 meters; and 0.8 g/t of gold over 54 meters.
Near-surface, infill drilling at Courvan intersected gold zones grading up to 1.7 g/t of gold over 17 meters; and 0.8 g/t of gold over 37.5 meters.
The company is set to begin its 10,000-meter exploration drill program next week, with two drill rigs, at Novador. The program will target new areas.
Further, the company said large regional prospecting and soil geochemical surveys are ongoing on the Val-d'Or properties.
