09:22 AM EDT, 05/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Procter & Gamble ( PG ) said Tuesday it will promote its top-performing household and personal care brands during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
The company said more than 30 P&G brands will be featured in marketing and in-store campaigns, partnerships with athletes, and complimentary products and services in the Athletes' Village.
Reuters said the decision is a shift in focus as P&G previously concentrated on company values in its Olympics advertising.
"In the past, we've had both a P&G and a brand focus, and this time we just really decided we're going to go focus, not 100%, but much more prominently, on brands," Reuters quoted the company's Chief Brand Officer Marc Pritchard as saying.
