Procter & Gamble to Reportedly Cut 7,000 Jobs; Exit Some Brands, Categories
Jun 5, 2025 3:36 AM

06:23 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Procter & Gamble ( PG ) said it will eliminate about 7,000 jobs globally, or 15% of its non-manufacturing workforce, over the next two years, multiple outlets reported Thursday, citing a company statement.

The cuts are part of a reorganization aimed at building broader roles and leaner teams, not for cost reduction, the company reportedly said at a Deutsche Bank conference.

The company also plans to drop select categories, product forms, and brands in certain markets, though details were not provided, the media outlets reported.

The news outlets added that as of June 2024, P&G had around 108,000 employees, meaning the layoffs represent about 6% of its total staff.

Procter & Gamble ( PG ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
