04:44 PM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Profound Medical ( PROF ) after trade Friday said Matthew Sobczyk has been promoted from corporate controller to interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.

He joined the company in 2020 and replaces Rashed Dewan, who has stepped down as CFO, it added.

Dewan would stay with the company on a short-term consulting contract to help ensure a smooth transition, Chief Executive Arun Menawat said.
