Progress Software Fiscal Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; 2025 Non-GAAP Earnings Guidance Raised

05:04 PM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Progress Software ( PRGS ) reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings late Monday of $1.31 per diluted share, up from $1.25 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.06.

Revenue for the quarter ended Feb. 28 was $238 million, up from $184.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $235.6 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $1.28 to $1.34. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.17. The company expects revenue for the quarter of $235 million to $241 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $233.8 million.

Progress Software ( PRGS ) expects fiscal year 2025 non-GAAP EPS of $5.25 to $5.37, compared with a prior outlook of $5 to $5.12. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $5.06. The company reaffirmed its revenue outlook for the year of $958 million to $970 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $964.4 million.

Shares of the company were up 7.6% in recent after-hours activity.
