04:41 PM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Progress Software ( PRGS ) posted fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings Tuesday of $1.26 per diluted share, up from $1.08 a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.14.

Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 was $178.7 million, up from $175.0 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $175.9 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $1.15 to $1.25 on revenue of $207 million to $217 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.28 on $194.3 million revenue.

Progress Software ( PRGS ) expects fiscal year 2024 non-GAAP EPS of $4.75 to $4.85, compared with a prior outlook of $4.70 to $4.80. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $4.76.

The company raised its revenue outlook for the year to $745 million to $755 million from 725 million to $735 million previously. Analysts expect $730 million.
