Progress Software Pick of the Week at Smart Insider Following Stock Purchases by CEO Gupta, Non-Executive Krall

09:14 AM EDT, 07/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Progress Software ( PRGS ) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week after the company's Chief Executive Yogesh Gupta purchased $103,200 worth of company shares at $49.14 apiece on July 23, marking his second purchase.

Non-executive David Krall also bought $251,000 worth of company shares at $48.90 apiece, Smart Insider said in a Tuesday note.

Krall has been a director since 2008 but has "never" bought the stock previously, the note said, adding that he and Gupta were sellers in 2024 at "higher prices."

Smart Insider ranked the stock +N, or notable and positive signal, on July 24.
