Progressive's October Net Income Rises

08:50 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Progressive (PGR) reported October net income Friday of $0.69 per share, up from $0.68 a year earlier.

The insurer said net premiums written in October rose to $6.58 billion from $5.53 billion a year earlier, while net premiums earned increased to $6.39 billion from $5.38 billion.

The company's shares were up 2.9% in premarket activity.
