Progressive's Q3 Net Income, Net Premiums Written Rise; Shares Fall Pre-Bell

08:29 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Progressive (PGR) reported Q3 net income Wednesday of $4.45 per diluted share, up from $3.97 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $5.02.

Net premiums written for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $21.38 billion, up from $19.46 billion a year earlier.

The company's shares were down more than 3% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
