Progyny Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise -- Shares Plummet After Hour

04:38 PM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Progyny ( PGNY ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.39 per diluted share, up from $0.34 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.35.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $278.1 million, up from $258.4 million.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $289.1 million.

The company expects a Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.39 to $0.41 per share on revenue of $300 million to $310 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $0.41 on revenue of $334.8 million.

For the full-year 2024, the company now expects adjusted earnings of $1.61 to $1.68 per share on revenue of $1.23 billion to $1.27 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect EPS of $1.57 on revenue of $1.30 billion.

The company said it bought back 723,577 shares for $26.4 million in Q1 under the $100 million repurchase program approved by the board on Feb. 29.

Progyny ( PGNY ) shares were down more than 20% in after-hours activity.
