06:50 AM EDT, 05/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Prospera Energy ( GXRFF ) overnight Thursday said the filing of its annual audited financial statements, annual management's discussion and analysis and related certifications for the year 2023 will be delayed.

The filing deadline was April 29. The company said there have been no material changes to the information in its filings since it issued an original announcement of its delayed filing on April 25.

The audit is ongoing and company management and the board are working to file the documents by May 29.

If Prospera does not file the documents in a timely manner, the Canadian Securities Regulatory Authorities may impose an issuer cease trade order on its outstanding securities.
