06:35 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Prospera Energy ( GXRFF ) late on Wednesday said its first-quarter sales revenue increased 17% while operating costs rose.
Sales revenue climbed to $4.6 million from $3.9 million. Average net sales amounted to 660 barrels of oil equivalent per day, an increase of 3% from 640 boe/d.
Operating costs per boe surged 54% at $59.46/boe from $38.69/boe. The increase was attributed to multiple unplanned electricity outages, infrastructure upgrades and extreme weather-related costs.
The company also said it has secured commitments for $3 million, earmarked for its capital program and to be released in multiple tranches.
During the quarter, Prospera completed a workforce optimization initiative that resulted in staffing reductions. The initiative aimed to streamline corporate decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
