05:23 PM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Prosperity Bancshares ( PB ) said Monday it closed the acquisition of Lone Star State Bancshares and Lone Star State Bank of West Texas.

The company issued 2.38 million shares of Prosperity common stock and paid $64.1 million for all outstanding shares and dilutive securities of LS Bancshares.
