Prosus to sell 4.5% stake in Delivery Hero to Uber for $318 million
Apr 16, 2026 11:51 PM

April 17 (Reuters) - Dutch technology investor Prosus on Friday said it has agreed to sell a 4.5% stake in Germany's Delivery Hero to Uber ( UBER ) for about 270 million euros ($318.06 million)

Prosus is selling 13.6 million Delivery Hero shares at 20 euros each, reducing its stake to 21.8% from 26.3%.

The sale advances Prosus' compliance with conditions set by the European Commission for its acquisition of Just Eat Takeaway, which required the company to reduce its Delivery Hero shareholding to address competition concerns in the food delivery sector.

($1 = 0.8489 euros)
