Prudential Financial Unit Completes $2 Billion Fund Raise for Data Center Investments

09:22 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Prudential Financial's ( PRU ) global asset management unit PGIM Real Estate said Wednesday that it has completed fundraising for its initial Global Data Center Fund, generating $2 billion in new capital from a group of global investors.

Since its first close in July 2023, the Global Data Center Fund has been developing a geographically diversified portfolio of assets targeting investments across the major global data center markets of North America, Asia Pacific and Europe, the company said.

Prudential shares were fractionally lower in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
