07:30 AM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Prudential Financial's ( PRU ) investment management unit PGIM said Thursday it has opened an office in Abu Dhabi after receiving a Financial Services Permission to operate in Abu Dhabi Global Market, the city's financial center.

Mohammed Abdulmalek was recently named head of the Middle East for the asset manager and chairman of the newly established local entity, the company said.

Emira Socorro was named as senior executive officer to lead the newly launched office in Abu Dhabi and a member of the board of the local entity, the company said.
