PTC Collaborates With Microsoft, Volkswagen to Add Generative AI to Codebeamer

09:01 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- PTC (PTC) said Tuesday it partnered with Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Volkswagen Group to add generative AI to its software engineering product Codebeamer.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) will embed the capabilities of its virtual AI assistant Copilot into PTC's Codebeamer, which Volkswagen has been using for software development across its brands and vehicle projects, according to PTC.

The new product, Codebeamer Copilot, is expected to be released for beta use to select PTC customers in early 2025, PTC said.

Financial details of the collaboration were not disclosed.
